Editorial Collaborations

EN / GR

DAILY CRETE is an independent travel and culture publication dedicated to Crete.
We publish stories about places, people, food, culture, creativity and everyday life across the island, for readers who want to know more about Crete beyond the usual travel guide.

What We Feature
We are interested in subjects that give us something to explore and share with our readers. This may include:

Boutique Hotels & Unique Stays
Villas & Guesthouses
Restaurants & Taverns
Cafés, Wineries & Local Producers
Artists, Photographers & Creators
Craftspeople & Local Makers
Cultural Initiatives
Festivals, Concerts & Events
Experiences connected with life in Crete

Our features are selected individually. We do not list every business or project that contacts us.

The Editorial Feature
A feature starts with the subject itself. We look at what you do, the people behind it, the place, the setting and the details that help explain it to someone who has never been there.
Depending on the subject, the feature may include original writing, photography, video or a combination of these. We may create our own visual material, work with professional photographers and other creatives, or use photographs and video supplied by the business or project when they meet our editorial standards. The feature is published on DAILY CRETE and remains part of our editorial archive.

What the Feature Is For
A DAILY CRETE feature gives readers a closer look at a place, person or project and provides information they can use when planning their time in Crete. It also creates a permanent editorial page that can continue to be found after publication through the DAILY CRETE website, Google and other forms of online search.

We are also interested in how people now find information about travel. Search engines, AI tools and conversational search are increasingly part of that process, so we write our features to be clear, useful and easy to understand in these environments.

We do not promise search rankings or guaranteed visibility.

Beyond Hotels, Restaurants & Travel
Some of the most interesting subjects in Crete are not traditional travel businesses.
Our editorial work also extends to artists, photographers, musicians, craftspeople, cultural initiatives, festivals, local celebrations and creative projects.

A village festival, a concert, an exhibition, a workshop or a cultural gathering can tell a traveler something about the island that they may not find in a standard sightseeing guide.
These subjects are part of what we want DAILY CRETE to cover.

How We Work Together
If you are interested in an editorial feature, start by telling us about your business, project, event or creative work. We will look at the subject, learn more about what you do and decide whether it fits the editorial direction of DAILY CRETE. If it does, we can discuss the most suitable way to present it. There is no fixed format for every feature. The subject determines the story and the material we use.
